Today, we are proud to congratulate two of our team members, Sylvain and Jérémy, on obtaining their CQPM Anodizing Operator certification (a nationally recognized qualification in the French metallurgy sector).
Originally machine assemblers, they took on the challenge of retraining to master a new craft, expanding their expertise into chemical processing and production line management. Their commitment and drive perfectly embody the culture of innovation and continuous skill development we foster at GUELT. Congratulations to both!
Thanks to the determination of our Assembly and QSE (Quality, Safety, Environment) teams, we have reached a new milestone by implementing our own in-house anodizing line for aluminum surface treatment.
We are currently one of the few packaging machine manufacturers worldwide to have integrated this specialized capability. This strategic move reflects our commitment to increasing autonomy and keeping as much of our production as possible at our site in Brittany, France.
This vertical integration translates into direct benefits for our partners: by eliminating our dependence on external subcontractors, we significantly reduce lead times and guarantee uncompromising quality control and traceability at every stage of the process.
Furthermore, internalizing our surface treatment process aligns with our commitment to a more sustainable industry. By centralizing operations at our Brittany site, we have drastically reduced road transport, lowering our carbon footprint and supporting a more eco-responsible supply chain.
As an entirely new venture for us, this project required overcoming numerous hurdles and acquiring a brand-new body of knowledge. Five years later, the results speak for themselves: the anodizing line is fully operational, and we have achieved total process control.
This collective achievement is a testament to our capacity for innovation and our resilience.
