Four German interns immersed in our industrial environment

Published on 13 May 2026

This week, we were delighted to welcome four young German interns to Guelt as part of a partnership with Saint-Joseph La Salle school. A great opportunity for cultural exchange and hands-on insight into industrial careers.

Juri and Luca, who are currently training as machining technicians, will soon join our mechanical workshop to discover milling and turning operations. Meanwhile, Lenny and Raphael, who are studying mechatronics, will work alongside our assembly team to take part in machine commissioning and learn more about the operation of our industrial equipment.

Before officially starting their internship next week, the four students visited our facilities accompanied by their instructor, two representatives from the Chemnitz Chamber of Commerce, and members of Saint-Joseph La Salle school. This first immersion gave them the opportunity to explore our sheet metal fabrication, machining and assembly workshops, while also meeting several of our employees to gain a better understanding of our professions and working environment.

At Guelt, welcoming young people and passing on expertise are integral parts of our company values. Throughout the year, we regularly open our doors to students through company visits, internships and apprenticeship programmes. These exchanges are essential in helping guide younger generations, introducing them to industrial careers and showcasing the wide range of skills and expertise that drive our business.

This type of partnership also reflects our commitment to international openness and collaboration, in line with the development of our activities and partnerships beyond our borders.

We would like to warmly welcome Juri, Luca, Lenny and Raphael to our teams and wish them an enriching experience with us.

Special thanks to Saint-Joseph La Salle Lorient for organising this exchange, as well as to the representatives of the Chemnitz Chamber of Commerce and Sachsen Guss foundry for this enjoyable and valuable visit.
